We stayed at the villa for three weeks from 2 November. The villa was spotlessly clean on our arrival and the owner was kind enough to let us drop off our cases ahead of check in while we shopped. The has plenty of comfortable seating and is fully equipped with much of it brand new. The beds are comfortable though rather high off the ground for short people and there is plenty of bedding available for cooler nights. We had a couple of minor problems which were soon fixed by the resident handyman for whom nothing was too much problem. One word of caution: the living and dining areas are on separate levels which might be a hazard for anyone of limited mobility. We arrived shortly after hurricane Milton had gone through. Jim and his team had worked very hard to ensure not only that the villa was habitable but that the pool was clear of sand

We returned to Longboat Key after 20+ years, and where we previously stayed in a full service resort. Our choice this time was for personal service, intimate, private and luxurious accommodation. Jim's beach villa was the perfect decision. Contemporary furnishings, a well stocked/clean kitchen, comfortable beds, large TV in the living room, 3 beach umbrellas which we used daily and peacefulness! No noise. If you have any issues or questions during your stay, he responds immediately. Our 20 something kids loved the public tennis courts only minutes away and the local Publix is equally as close. Would definitely recommend this beach house and in fact, hope to come back.

You will not find a better place to vacation in Longboat Key. Jim is easy to work with and knows the area well. My family made memories we will keep for a lifetime. Can not wait to go back next year. Beach is right out your back door!

My family, 4 adults and 1 child, rented this beach house for a week. The stay was so wonderful. The house was comfortable and inviting. Mr. Zilli kept in touch leading up to the stay, during the stay, and even after the stay to be sure everything was as expected. The house is very nicely decorated with new living room furniture. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, which was nice as we cooked breakfast daily. The layout of the house was really nice- great family living and dining area, two bedrooms with pocket doors that could completely separate the guest bed and bath from the en suite master bedroom. The pocket doors provided nice privacy for the two bedroom spaces. The beach access couldn’t have been better. It’s an excellent location and you simply walk out the back door through your little grass yard and right onto the beach. The wild rabbits frequently in the yard were so cute!!!! We had one tiny maintenance issue that was very quickly resolved with one simple text to Mr. Zilli. The shower in the second bath wasn’t draining well, which is completely understandable in these sandy conditions. We had maintenance out to the house within maybe 2 hours and they completely resolved the issue. They even checked the other shower drain just to be sure it wasn’t clogged either. Excellent response time and service with zero stress. This home is highly recommended! What a wonderful place to relax for a week. We only wish it was longer! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Dear Jim, We had a beautiful week in your lovely villa. Your attention to all things was and is truly and deeply appreciated. We loved the Zilli Villa and its welcoming, warm feel. The views, that we never grew tired of, are missed now we are home. Every window awarded us with the ocean or beautiful tropical plants, simply wonderful. The carport was so close and an added bonus...The peacefulness was paradise. The care you put into the comfort of your guests was a highlight of our week... The beds, the incredible comfort of the mattresses, pillows, sheets and duvets awarded us the most wonderful peaceful night's sleep. At night we enjoyed the comfort of the living room, the three of us felt at home. The dining table was magnificent, with one end taken up with my husband's puzzle which he worked on all week. And I must not forget to mention the lovely kitchen. We loved the three bunnies that visited every single day, they did munch, however on your, I believe they are called snake plants which were off on the left side, I guess that was their daily salad bar... The smallest of the three bunnies even came close to us. The many butterflies greeted us every morning and certainly added to our happiness. We did see one black snake, on the first day slither away through the yard, but we have encountered snakes before on Long Boat. We were glad he was a one time visitor and we were extra careful to keep all doors closed as you wrote to do. We saw a manatee very close to shore. He was huge and swam very close to those in the water. The seabirds enchanted our views in front of us, and it was our first time seeing a blue egret near the ocean right in front of us turning his neck the way they do to catch the tiny fish in the breaking waters on shore. He lingered for quite awhile... Simply magical... You Jim are a good person... We appreciate your care and communication. Quite simply, we will return to your beautiful villa, as we have found a home away from home. Thank you also to Chris, your head of cleaning, he is a good, kind person who cares and always when we saw him near would smile, say hello with a welcoming smile... Those are the things that make us want to return... Jim, thank you for everything. The time you put into your beautiful home was noticed by us. How lucky you are to own such a lovely home ocean front on beautiful Long Boat Key and to be able to share it with people who appreciate it. Take care of yourself. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Zilli Villa on Longboat Key. The ease of access to the beach from the villa is so important for us as our adult son has multiple disabilities. I can't imagine being any closer to the beach! Mr. Zilli is an accommodating host, who makes it clear to his guests that that he is always available to answer questions and concerns both day and night. The house was clean and ready to go when we arrived. Starter amenities (soaps, paper towels, TP etc.) were appreciated. Checking out was a breeze. The grocery store is 2 miles down the road and there are many quality restaurants in the vicinity of the villa. We look forward to visiting again next year.

The Zilli Villa is truly a little slice of paradise. The Villa is super spacious and we all had plenty of room to spread out and have our privacy as well as together time. (We had a party of 4). You simply cannot get anything closer to the beach. Literally 10 steps out your own personal back yard. The unit is well stocked and Jim truly goes above and beyond with his level of service and details. The Turtle Crawl has many nice amenities like chairs and loungers provided, A nice little heated pool, Grills that are cleaned daily and nice little pavilions. We loved our stay and plan to return again and again!

My daughters and I and my sisters spent an amazing week in Zilli’s beach villa on Longboat Key. We loved the villa. Upon entry the home greets you with amazing touches from the furniture to the decor that gives you a very homey feeling. The villa was very clean and I loved the kitchen and how well stocked it was. Everything you could need was well thought out. Additionally I appreciated the fact that there was an abundance of beautiful glass wear for wine or cocktails. You open the shades in the back and the view from within the villa is like none other I’ve ever seen for ocean view as you can see it from every seat inside. Not to mention you have your own beautiful view and privacy patio outside. We really enjoyed our stay. My sister said she had the best sleep she had in months.

We just spent an idyllic week at the Zilli Villa. The accommodations are terrific and you want for nothing. From a fully stocked kitchen with plentiful glasses, a Keurig coffee maker and all the kitchen gadgets you’d ever need, to towels, towels, towels for both beach and bath. The beach is lovely and was never overcrowded. We were joined by dolphins, herons and even a rabbit. The sunsets are magnificent every night! The private yard was great for containing our toddler grandson and was a nice place to sit and relax when not beaching it. This was our first time visiting and we loved every minute. So much so, we rebooked for next year!

Zilli Villa - is a perfect beach getaway that is a few steps from the beach, and offers beautiful sunsets to enjoy every night. This location is close to everything Sarasota offers. I would highly recommend this to any beach loving vacationer. I come back every chance I can get. - Eric

Spending a week in the Zilli Villa on Longboat Key is something our family looks forward to all year long. The house is perfect for a family--it's comfortable, clean, and has all the amenities needed for an incredible beach vacation. With the private beach access literally outside the back door, the Zilli Villa's location and convenience make this a true gem on the island. We love to visit St. Armands Circle for dinner and shopping and then return to watch the sunset from the backyard or play catch on the beach as we watch the sun go down. Staying in the Villa is truly paradise, and we can't wait for our next trip!

My husband and I rented the Villa over Labor Day week with our best friends and had an amazing vacation! The Villa is very spacious and decorated so beautiful! The view and access to the beach is priceless. We took amazing sunset pics every night. The private backyard with patio furniture, table, and umbrella provided us with a beautiful view as we ate dinner or breakfast together outside. We had so much fun cooking or grilling just so we could sit outside together. Jim was an incredible host and the welcome to Paradise package document he sends you is incredible! We went to several restaurants and places to see that he recommended and they were all wonderful. He even provided his cell # for any concerns or issues - which I am happy to share was NONE. It was so nice have someone as dedicated and committed to not only the Villa we rented, but to our experience and stay too. We cant wait to come back next year!

The house is on a one of a kind location. One of the only houses that are not a multi appartement house on that strech of the beach. Lots of wildlife on the beach an right in the garden in front of the house. The kids loved it. Jim is a premier host, he does wathever is needed so his guest can enjoy a wonderful stay. This place is amazing! This is our second year here and we already have booked next year. You are only a few steps to the beautiful gulf coast. Jim, the owner, is so attentive to your needs! I highly recommend this beautiful home that I get time call mine for one week out of the year!
